New Mexico Art Auction

Celebrating All Cultures, All Genres, Old and New

March 16, 2019

The Friends of Coronado Historic Site has scheduled the 2019 New Mexico Art Auction, a fund-raising event to support the Coronado and Jemez Historic Sites.

We will accept all forms of hand-made art made in New Mexico both old and new, from all artists, from all cultures; Native American, Hispanic, Asian, Anglo, African-American, etc.  Bring your work to the Coronado Historic Site, March 9-10-11, 13-14 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Closed Tuesday the 12th and Friday the 15th)

In 2018 we auctioned 241 items, including Pueblo Pottery, Navajo Textiles, Anglo Paintings and Sculptures, Native American and New Mexican Jewelry and Hispanic Colcha and Carvings. We expect the 2019 auction to be even bigger.

We are currently seeking pieces from the 19th, 20th and 21st Centuries. Work by listed artists is especially welcome. If you have something to sell send us an email, or call the gift shop for details, 505-771-0416.

We are often asked what types of art we accept in the auction. Click here to open an information page that answers this question.

Visit this site in March 2019 to see photographs of auction lots entered.
