Flint Knapping Day – June 11

flint knapping

Join the staff at Coronado, and our flint-knapping friends, out on the cool shady portal of Coronado Historic Site on Saturday, June 11, to watch expert arrowhead makers in action.    Adults pay the regular museum/site admission fee of $3, and children under 16 are free!  This event is sponsored by the Friends of Coronado Historic Site.

The flint knappers should be set up by ten o’clock in the morning, and will be here until about two o’clock pm.  Come out to Coronado and learn how an arrowhead was made, from start to finish!
