The Lights of Kuaua

December 6: When Decorating Yucca, Wear Armor!

Armor While Decorating

Decorating the soaptree yucca can be a perilous task.  Be sure that you are wearing a full set of Spanish armor — just in case!   Carolyn Gilmore, who bravely took on this task, is one of the amazing Friends of Coronado Historic Site who did their decorating magic at our museum Thursday in preparation for the Sunday Lights of Kuaua event.

The Lights of Kuaua is our winter celebration.  It will be filled with farolitos, luminarias, native dancing, bonfires, snacks, and music.  The event is Sunday, December 6, from 5:00-8:30 PM, and it is free to the public.  We hope to see you here as we start our holiday celebration at Coronado Historic Site!
