Ethan Ortega, Coronado’s newest ranger will present a talk on Salmon Pueblo.  This includes a discussion of various types of animal remains that were excavated near Bloomfield, NM.  This lecture involves the differentiation of ritualistic fauna from economic fauna and potential uses in each category.  Ranger Ortega has a B.S. in anthropology and applied archaeology from Eastern New Mexico University and has been involved in numerous projects in the American Southwest, as well as Spain.

General Admission: Adults are $5 and Members are Free.
