Not much has changed over the last week with the gardens. They have been healthier since we pulled out the squash plants, probably because the gardens are now attracting less squash bugs. We did pick our first ears of corn this week, they have finally begun to dry out. You can see a photograph of Ranger Ethan with one of the orange ears, they will be a great asset to our teaching collection, and we will take some to public schools when we do outreach presentations to teach students about native agriculture. Also, look carefully in the photographs with the sunflower garden, Ranger John is hiding in one of them!
