Baby Gourds

DSCN1784

This week our canteen gourds have begun to produce small gourds, we were worried that it was not going to because it had been blooming for the last few weeks, but nothing had produced. Our beans are continuing to produce many pods, and our corn is also still doing really well. We also removed what was left of our last squash plant from the squash bugs. As you can see from the pictures the sunflowers have all almost bloomed. It also looks like some of our amaranth has finally come up after 14 weeks of waiting. We also identified a non domesticated variety of amaranth that is growing on the property already.
