Circle of Life

Due to the large amount of wildlife here on our property, we occasionally get to whitness some pretty cool animal behavior. On June 8th, 2014 some of our volunteers noticed a rattle snake eating a small creature on the trail to the restrooms. We believe that the prey was a small cottontail rabbit. Ranger John believes that based on the size of the snake, it is likely that this was his first large meal, and it will probably take it weeks to fully digest the furry critter.
