On May 18th we had a special visit by students and faculty from Cumberland University in Lebanon Tennessee. The students are all from a wide array of subjects including biology, anthropology, art, and many more. They are all together traveling through the area as part of a summer course entitled “Pueblos, Canyons, and Art of Northern New Mexico”. The students were very interested in the history of the site, the mural paintings, and the natural environment of the area. The day was warm, but fortunately some of the native people selling items on the portal happened to be selling snow cones, and most of the students left with blue teeth. We appreciate their visit, and we hope they continue to have a fantastic tour of northern New Mexico.
